Shelby

As Lexi's birthday present (slightly early), Shelby is the newest addition to our family. She is a Yellow Labrador/Shiba Inu mix and is about 4 months old. We rescued her from the Washington County SPCA. They spayed her this morning so she's been pretty lethargic. She is very lovable and cuddled with Lexi the whole way home (it was about a 45 minute drive). We got her a crate and I was able to get her in it with no problems. We'll see how tomorrow goes but we are very excited to have her. She's such a beautiful dog!!! Oh and yes, the name did come from Julia Roberts' character in Steel Magnolias, one of my favorite movies. It is Lexi's dog but she was having a difficult time trying to come up with a name so I few out some suggestions!!
